Cruising culture has always played a huge part in the male Queer Community, for fun reasons but also for sad ones. "I wanted to test the waters and see how explicit I could go and gage the reaction from the public. Even with tactical blurring, Instagram took it down in minutes. It then made sense to display this depiction of a very public act in a more private setting. I painted these from stills after an afternoon ‘researching’ cruising porn as Covid restrictions were still in place at the time of creation."

Oil on Wood Canvas Construction. Each of the three pieces are approximately A4 in sizing.
