Thomas is a queer designer, running Everything Now Design, who's interest in making queer art and queer spaces was grappled with at the RCA. A sense of constraint and over simplification and over explanation pervaded his undergraduate education at Cambridge, further amplified in the workplace afterwards; juxtaposing the increasing number of queer people and places he was exploring in London.
A masters at the Royal College of Art allowed for an immense expansion in what felt possible to design, or not design in spaces. The sensations of movement, but disorientation were shared amongst colleagues, and hence Thomas helped form Queer Aided Design; a design platform as a
a means to connect and support queer architecture students and space makers.
