John Post

Meet John (he/him) who spends his time between Northern Ireland and Scotland as a PhD researcher exploring the dynamics between photographic representation and objectification of LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities. Primarily working with portraiture, John is a multiple Scottish Portrait Award finalist and has had work included in the Royal Photographic Society’s International Photography Exhibition and British Photography Awards.

His project From the Inside of the Edge is a portrait of gay male sexuality and represents the conflicting aspects of an emerging non-normative sexuality.
