Athrú

Athrú is a gay trans guy, queer erotic artist, and renaissance man (which is a polite way of saying he has ADHD and can’t pick just one creative medium). His work centres on exploring queer male, transgender and nonbinary sexuality and kink, and celebrating the pleasure our bodies can provide us. For Athrú, ‘queer hedonism’ is about the pursuit of both that pleasure, and of the absence of pain caused by wider societal stigma; in both his art and writing, Athrú depicts queer people feeling pleasure without shame, or unlearning that shame through the queer love and intimacy they experience.
